This post is mostly for my dad, because it's a bunch of things we've eaten and drank. After swimming one night a couple weeks ago, we went out to dinner at a restaurant called Sheni right near the Technion. It was delicious, and we got way too much food. Here is the ravioli:
And here is the salad with haloumi cheese (inspired by Tamar):
It was a gigantic salad. Ooops. Does anything on this menu look like something I would want to try? Sorry it's sideways.
The answer of course is yes! Nutella drink? Yes please! Here is what it turned out to be:
Extremely delicious. We went to have drinks with our new friends Rebecca and Nadav, who are very awesome. Nadav had some really good-looking apple cider, with actual dried apple in it.
Here are some cherry tomatoes. For scale, I put them next to a normal-sized lemon. The bigger cherry tomato is normal-sized for a cherry tomato, but look at that tiny one!
It's so tiny! Here's a closeup:
And tonight we tried some new vegetables. Here is the mini-zucchini whose stems had prickly bits:
And here is some other gourd-type thing:

Verdict: they were both good. And even though the peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes are great here, it's nice to have a change every once in a while.
Fun fact which I now because I grew up on a farm: one should always be careful around zucchini, yellow squash and (although I know this does not apply to you Caroline) pumpkin stems when the veggies are young and even when they are older. The spines on the stems are tiny and eventually turn into hair-like fuzz, but they are hard to get out if you get them when they are still spiney, like tiny invisible splinters!!
