A work meeting in Atlanta, complete with snake!

For work, I went to a meeting in Atlanta. It was actually about an hour outside of Atlanta, on an actual plantation. You might suspect that this was not really my scene, but it was good to meet the people who were there, even if it was at a plantation where the social activity was shooting. At least the shooting was of those clay things, not actual animals. Here are some pictures from the place:

The most exciting part of the trip was seeing a snake. Check it out:

We were on a walk, and my manager tried to pick it up and throw it out of the path, which didn't really work. Luckily, the snake was happy enough to just curl up and not attack us once we left it alone:

Work training in New York

I went on a work training trip to NYC in early May, and it was pretty cool. I got to stay in a fancy hotel room:

And I got to order room service for the first time in my life:

I think I need more fresh squeezed orange juice in my life. Also I got this at the hotel restaurant, which was not that delicious but was ok:

Then after the training, on the way to the airport for the flight back, I saw this funny load on a truck:

I hope those two little chairs weren't too heavy for that huge truck!

There were turkeys outside our apartment building!

A male and a female, and they were huge! The next day, the male showed up at the building's front door, but was gone by the time I got my camera.

New Orleans

It has really big cars (this picture didn't really turn out, but you can see how much bigger the car is than I am:
